Albert Judge “A.J.” Owens

Mr. Albert Judge “A.J.” Owens, age 88, of Woodbury, passed away August 13, 2025.  He grew up in Woodbury, son of the late Albert Hilton Owens and Annie Allen Owens. 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Owens and his brothers Johnny Owens and James “Bobo” Owens and sister Elsie Fuller (Calvin).

He is survived by his wife: Shirley Brown Owens; Children: Kenny Brown (Lynn), Travis Owens (Bethany) and Mary Ann McChargue (Jeff); Grandchildren: J.J. Brown, Chris McChargue (Katie), Kayla Owens, Heather McGinnis (Robin) and Kevin Owens (Jane Ann); Great-grandchildren: Autumn McGinnis, Joshua McChargue, Judah McGinnis, Lillian McChargue, Asher Owens and Avarie Owens.

Brothers and sisters and their spouses: Shirley Coffey (Frank), Mary Brown (Lamar) and Brenda Brown (Larry).

A family service to celebrate A. J.’s life will be held at a later date and time.
