A 48-year-old pedestrian died Thursday after being hit by a Lamar County Sheriff's Office patrol car, according to Lamar County Coroner Clay Tillery. Tillery said that Michael Brown, 48, of Barnesville. was pushing a bike across Veterans Parkway when he walked in front of the patrol car, and the car hit him.
