Andrew Steven Boyd, age 36, of Williamson, entered heaven on August 24, 2025. Andrew grew up and graduated from high school in Lamar County. Afterwards, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served his country for six years. Upon discharge, he worked many years as a lineman before spending the rest of his career in the traffic technology industry.
Andrew lived his life to the very fullest. He loved to be outdoors and on the water. He loved his people hard and impacted everyone he met. Andrew had a special way of making people feel safe and heard, and championed them well. He loved hard, fiercely, and without regret. Above all, Andrew was happiest when he was home living his simple life with his wife, Tiffany, and their precious, baby girl, Ruth.
He is survived by his wife: Tiffany Boyd; daughter: Ruth Boyd; parents: Jim and Donna Boyd; sister and brother-in-law: Stephanie and Barry Elder and their children: Kinsleigh and Heaton Elder; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Mike and Carol Johnson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Matt and Leaneth Johnson and their son: Matteo Johnson.
He was met with open arms by his favorite granny, Ruth Chatham, along with many other family members.
A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, 2 p.m., in The Pavilion at Christ Chapel, 68 Old Zebulon Road, Zebulon. Pastor Adam Snyder will officiate.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at The Pavilion.
