Archie Carroll Storey

Archie Carroll Storey, age 64, of Thomaston, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026. Mr. Storey was born on April 4, 1962, in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late Shirley Daniel Carpenter. In addition to his mother, Mr. Storey is preceded in death by his brothers, Robbie Hicks, Donnie Hicks; and his sister, Melinda Payne. 

Mr. Storey is survived by his wife, June Vermeer; daughters, Michelle Paramore, Kristina (Jeremy) Warren; brother, Warren (Barbara) Storey; grandchildren, Devin (Hailey) Paramore, Ali (Will) Eubanks, Corbyn Paramore, Leigha Warren, Shelby Warren, Chastity Williams; great-grandchildren, Logan Paramore, Kayn Paramore, and Willow Eubanks, nephews Robert Storey, Tyler Storey, niece Brittney Kanoff.

Archie was a loving spouse, uncle, brother, father, and family man. He loved working (“tinkering”) on things, and was always trying to lend a helping hand to those in need. Archie loved his grandchildren immensley, and was an amazing grandpa and great-grandpa. 

Funeral services for Mr. Storey will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
