Betty Ann Eubanks McCorkle

Mrs. Betty Ann Eubanks McCorkle, age 82, of Thomaston, died Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Riverside Health and Rehab. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. McCorkle will be held on Tuesday, March 24, at 11:00 AM, in South View Cemetery with Rev. Marc Pritchett officiating.

Mrs. McCorkle was born in Thomaston on May 1, 1943, to the late Ralph W. Eubanks and the late Christine Hines Eubanks. She was a 1961 graduate of R. E. Lee Institute and attended Massey College in Atlanta. Mrs. McCorkle was formerly employed by the William Carter Company where she was an inspector. Mrs. McCorkle dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCorkle was preceded in death by her husband, Louis R. McCorkle, a granddaughter, Heidi McCorkle, a sister, Sandra Eubanks Beverly, and a niece, Wendy Eubanks Royal.

She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Hammock Pope of Molena, GA; two sons: Neal McCorkle of Thomaston and Terry (Debbie) McCorkle of Harlem, GA; a brother: Steve (Susie) Eubanks of Thomaston; four grandchildren: Taylor (Zach) Moss of Pine Mountain, GA, Kristin (Rusty) Hill of Forsyth, GA, Holly (Trebor) Barnes of Evans, GA, and Ryan McCorkle of Grovetown, GA; and eleven great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
