Betty Lou Hilton

Mrs. Betty Lou Hilton age 89 of Thomaston Ga, died Wednesday July 1, 2026, at Providence Health and Rehab. 

Mrs. Hilton was born on March 1, 1937, in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late Roger Blount, and the late Hattie Johnson Blount.  She was a housekeeper and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Hilton.

Survivors include her daughters, Debbie (Tony) Barnes of Thomaston, Vickey (Michael) McLendon of Thomaston, sons, Jeffery (Jennifer) Hilton of Thomaston, Bradley (Lisa) Hilton of Rolla, MO, brothers, Roger Blount, Sammie (Voncille) Blount of Thomaston, sisters, Dorothy Shepard of Warner Robins, Brenda (LR) Brock of The Rock, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and special friend, Connie Riggins.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on July 5, 2026, from 2:00 p.m-3:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
