Bobbie Jean Simmons Miller

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Simmons Miller, age 86, of Molena, passed away May 23, 2025, at her home.  She grew up in Stockbridge, daughter of the late Leon Simmons and Essie Lou Carter Simmons.  Bobbie was a homemaker who enjoyed yard sales, playing Bingo, trips to Casinos, watching the Atlanta Braves and Old Westerns.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Miller, grandsons, Charles Bruce and Chris Wright, twin sister, Maxine Nunnery, sisters, Lena May Simmons and Dorothy Jarrett and brother, Tommy Simmons.

She is survived by her daughters: Clara Clayton, Nora Bivens (Hal), Helen Perrin (Carl) and Amanda Harris (Tyler); 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., at the funeral home.  Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.  

Burial will be held at 3 p.m., in Eastlawn Memorial Park, 640 McGarity Road, McDonough, GA.
