Bobby Dean Grindle

Mr. Bobby Dean Grindle, age 81, of Stockbridge, passed away August 23, 2025.  Bobby grew up in Atlanta, son of the late Dee Saith Grindle and Nellie Frances Plunket Grindle. He enjoyed fishing and riding his boat on West Point Lake.  

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, O’Neal Grindle, Ralph Grindle and Donald Grindle.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 58 years: Mattie Grindle; children: Wayne Grindle (Tammy), Dollie Grindle, Barbara Holmes (Roger), and Robert Grindle; brother: Eugene Grindle; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

A service to celebrate Bobby’s life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, 1 p.m., at Memorial Baptist Church, 4476 Simpson Rd, Forest Park.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., at the church.
