Carolyn Regina Self Carr

Mrs. Carolyn Regina Self Carr, age 62, of Thomaston, died Saturday, October 18,2025 at her residence.

Mrs. Carr was born on December 16, 1962, in Macon, Georgia to the late Arthur Lee Self, and the late Grading Johnson Self.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Carr Sr., son, David Lee Carr Jr., and grandchild, Cortney Kornegay Jr.

Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Carr, Amie Kornegay, sisters, Cindy Dye, Theresa Yates, Wendy (Dean) Snody, grandchildren, Kaylie New berry, Ayden Carr, Reagan Kornegay, and Remington Kornegay.

Mrs. Carr was cremated and private memorial services will be held at a later date.
