Carroll Dwayne Roberts

Mr. Carroll Dwayne Roberts age 89, of Thomaston, Georgia, died Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Upson Regional Medical Center.  

Mr. Roberts was born on April 26, 1936, in Greene County, Georgia, to the late Willie Joseph Roberts, and the late Mae Belle Walls Roberts.  He served his country in the US Army and worked as a mechanic.  He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Mr. Roberts was a construction missionary visiting over 70 countries.  He was an avid walker, walking from Macon to Thomaston, Griffin to Thomaston and Barnesville to Thomaston. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lavell Morris Roberts; son, Tony Elliott; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his daughters, Chris (Ron) Nadeau, Kim (Randy) Bishop; sons, Kent (Tonie) Monroe, Bubba (Honey) Rigdon, Steve Roberts; brothers, Gene (Vikki) Roberts, Wilburn Roberts; sister, Florence (Cecil) McHaffie; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Mr. Roberts was cremated, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
