Cavin Lawrence Cook

Mr. Cavin Lawrence Cook, age 43, of Griffin, passed away March 26, 2025, at his home. Cavin grew up in Heuvelton, New York. He was athletic and enjoyed playing soccer. After graduating high school, Cavin attended Binghamton State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science. Cavin was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Mets fan.

He is survived by his father: Clifton Cook and step-mother Marie Cook, of Williamson; siblings: Clifton Cook Jr., Christian Cook, and Garrison Cook.

It was Cavin’s wish to be cremated, and his ashes interred at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
