Cecil Lamar Hadley

Mr. Cecil Lamar Hadley, age 76 of Thomaston, died Friday, December 27, 2024, at Upson Regional Medical Center. 

 

Mr. Hadley was born on April 20, 1948, in Coweta County, Georgia, to the late Clifford Byron Hadley, and the late Phyllis Elaine Williams Hadley.  He served his country in the US Army during Vietnam and worked in marketing for Cracker Barrell.  He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Molena.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sayla Grace Hadley.

 

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Rita Ann Bullington Hadley of Thomaston, daughters, Monica Perdue of Thomaston, Charlotte (Jonathan) Jenkins of Ooltewah, TN, son, Daniel (Mandi) Hadley of Thomaston, brother, Byron (Beth) Hadley of Warm Springs, sisters, Dora (Lin) Spires of Columbus, Debrah (Steve) Santos of Albany, Ruth (Wayne) Nobles of Smiths Station, Alabama, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

 

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Pine Mountain, Georgia.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Mt. Olive Baptist Church Building Fund at 1177 Hwy 109 W Molena, GA 30258.
