Charlene Grace Youngs Rapholtz

Mrs. Charlene Grace Youngs Rapholtz, age 65, of Williamson, passed away May 18, 2025, at Emory-Midtown Hospital in Atlanta.  Charlene grew up in Sylvan Beach, NY, daughter of the late Frank Luther Youngs and the late Viola Georgia Sharp Youngs.  Charlene had lived in Pike County for the last 38 years.  She was proud of her Cherokee Indian heritage and enjoyed collecting arrowheads, gnomes, salt and pepper shakers and anything with horses on it.  Charlene was very crafty and made jewelry and wreaths which she sold at the Concord Jubilee.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Rapholtz and her uncle Jack Sharp.

She is survived by her husband and companion of 50 years: Wesley Michael Rapholtz; children: Jason Rapholtz (Patricia), Joshua Rapholtz and Jayda Michelle Rapholtz Brooks (Keith); grandchildren: Brianna Rapholtz (Tristian), Jackson Levi Rapholtz, Terry Jones and David Jones; four great-grandchildren: Haven, Harper, Kason, and Colt; brother and sisters: Frank Luther Youngs II, Cyla Sue Warren and Cynthia Marie Stanhope; nieces: Jackie Benton (Christopher) and Bailey Thomas (Gavin); great-nephews and great-niece: Matthew, Justin and Madelyn.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the funeral home.  

A celebration of life service for Charlene will follow at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.
