Christy Henson Marston

Christy Henson Marston, 61, of Griffin, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Harbor View Nursing Home.

Christy was born on June 19, 1963, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Henson. Christy worked in retail and banking. She loved people and enjoyed serving within the community.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Marston of Griffin; mother, Ruby W. Henson of Griffin; brother and sister-in-law, Steven C. and Lori Henson of Griffin; uncle, Marvin “Clifford” Williams of Covington; in-laws, Sheryl and Ralph McGourik, Lynda and Wendall Teague, and Wanda and Joey Marston, all of Thomaston; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Friday, April 18, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Conner-Westbury chapel with Pastor Ritchie Thompson officiating. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
