Crawford County Man Killed Crash

A 61-year-old Roberta man died when his vehicle veered off Taylor Mill Road and hit a tree. The crash remains under investigation.

A Crawford County man died Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Taylor Mill Road, according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a news release, the sheriff’s office received a call around 2:59 p.m. on June 11 about a crash involving one vehicle. When deputies arrived, they found 61-year-old Bobby Eugene Willard had died from his injuries.

Deputy Coroner Randall Pate pronounced Willard dead at the scene, according to the news release.

The release says Willard was driving north on Taylor Mill Road when his vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree.

The crash remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, according to the release.
