Denise Renee Hammock

Mrs. Denise Renee Hammock, age 64 of Thomaston, died Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Hammock was born on May 31, 1960, in Thomaston, to the late Johnny Hammock, and the late Myrle Fulcher Hammock.  She graduated from Westwood Academy, worked at Thomaston Mills for fourteen years and worked as a waitress at Riverbend.  She was of the Baptist Faith.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gene Hammock, and granddaughter, Aliyah Blount.

Survivors include her sons, Mikey (Tiffany Hosley) Blount of Thomaston, Scotty Blount of Thomaston, cousin, Deidre (Norman) Lawrence grandchildren, Alex and Keeli Blount and their mother LaSha Murphy, grandchild Noah Blount, great-grandchild, Kaynin Peaden, numerous other cousins, and best friend, Betty Jane Allen of Thomaston.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
