Eight students taken to the hospital after school bus involved in Monroe County wreck


Multiple students have been taken to the hospital following a wreck involving a school bus in Monroe County.


The Monroe County School District confirms the wreck happened Thursday morning just before 7:30 a.m. on North Frontage Road in front of America's Best Value Inn.

District officials say the bus was rear-ended by a vehicle.

Eight middle and high school students have been taken to the hospital for evaluation. District officials say no major injuries were reported. Everyone else on the bus was taken to school.
