Elizabeth Louise McDaniel

Elizabeth Louise McDaniel, age 92, of Meansville, passed away August 25, 2025.

Mrs. McDaniel was born on August 11, 1933, in Pike County. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially cutting grass and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She loved the Lord and her Mt. Gap Church family. She retired from the William Carter Company in Barnesville after over 30 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard “Dick” McDaniel; sons, Dennis and Bobby McDaniel; mother, Claudie B. Daniel; brothers and sister-in-law, Donald and Mary Daniel and Leonard Daniel; sister and brother-in-law, Dollie and Donald Sparks.

Survivors include her daughter, Lynn (Todd) Narron; daughter-in-law, Janet McDaniel; Nanny to her grandsons, Chad (Ashley) McDaniel, Chase Narron; great grandsons, Townes and Roger McDaniel; sister-in-law, Alice Daniel; special lifelong friend, Jeanette Adams; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 3:00 PM, at Lamar Memory Gardens in Barnesville. Rev. Al Shackelford will officiate.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 1-2 PM, at the funeral home.
