Mr. Floyd England Jr., 88, of Meansville, Georgia passed away in Macon, Georgia on November 10th, 2025. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 25th, 1937. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Sr. and Maude England.
Floyd retired from Ford Motor Company in Hapeville, Georgia, after 31 years of dedicated service, 25 of which he proudly served as a union representative. In his early years, he was the president of the Athletic Association, as well as a little league coach in Graysville, Alabama. He was also a member of the Birmingham football and baseball officials' association. Later, he became a member of the Atlanta Area Football Officials. A dedicated Mason for 39 years, he found great joy and purpose in his role as Past Master of Meridian Sun Lodge No. 26 in Griffin, Georgia, and was humbled to be recognized as an honorary member of Montgomery Lodge No. 31 in Zebulon, Georgia. He was a member of The Gathering Church in Thomaston, Georgia. He enjoyed many things in life, but he especially loved two things — being called “Pop” by his grandkids and Alabama football!
