Gary Wayne Craven

Mr. Gary Wayne Craven, age 70, of Molena, passed away on October 11, 2024, at his home.  He grew up in Anniston, Alabama, son of the late Clyde Craven and Juanita Williams Norton.  He worked for Borden Chemicals in Griffin for many years before retiring.  Gary enjoyed yardwork and was a huge Alabama football fan.  He was a great husband and father and a wonderful neighbor.  

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Craven.

He is survived by his daughter: Brenna Craven Akers (Tim); grandchildren: Zalen Akers (Madeline) and Blythe Akers; brother: Ray Clark; sister: Linda McCrory (Darrin); niece and nephew: Jeremy Arnold and Taylor Clark.

It was Gary’s wish to be cremated, and no services are planned.
