Gloria Kay Bethune Gatlin

Mrs. Gloria Kay Bethune Gatlin, age 66, of Thomaston, passed away March 12, 2025, at her home.  Gloria was born in Pike County and moved to Thomaston when she was a young teenager.  She was a homemaker who loved her family. Gloria enjoyed the outdoors, working on cars and lawnmowers. She was a collector of many things and enjoyed thrift store shopping.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lincoln Gatlin, her parents, Aubrey Bethune and Nellie Callahan Bethune, her sister, Judy Bethune and grandmother, Ruth Callahan.


She is survived by her daughter: Kimberly Holland (Jason); daughter-in-love: Ashley Dean Soisson (Doug); grandchildren: Perry Holland, Zyler Holland, Nicholas Holland, Thomas Warriner (Hailey), Dylan Clark and grand dog: Pickles; great-grandchildren: Harmony, Saylor and Charley Warriner; sisters and brothers: Jan Ogletree (Ronnie), Jimmy Bethune (Joyce), Kim Bethune (Rachel), Gary Bethune (Bobbi Jo), and Joanie Winters (Bobby); many nieces and nephews.


A celebration of life service for Gloria will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Moody-Daniel Funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
