Early Morning Suicide in Griffin Outside City Hall

On April 17th 2024 shortly after 0900 hours Griffin Police, Fire, and EMS were called to the parking deck at City Hall in reference to a male who was found in the street suffering from injuries concurrent with a fall. Preliminary investigation has determined that the male entered the deck, parked his vehicle and jumped from the railing. The name of the deceased is being withheld at this time until family members can be notified.
