From Barnesville.com: A collision involving a white SUV and an Upson County school bus on Hwy. 36 East Friday afternoon temporarily sidelined the boys and girls soccer teams from Upson-Lee Middle School who were en route to play matches in Jackson.

The accident occurred just after 4 p.m at the intersection of Hwy. 36 and High Falls Park Road. Witnesses said the SUV was turning from High Falls Park Road westbound onto Hwy. 36 and pulled out in front of the eastbound bus. The bus was carrying 33 kids and six adults.
