Jamelle “Jamie” Ann Mendelson Holmes


Mrs. Jamelle “Jamie” Ann Mendelson Holmes age 70, of Williamson, passed away January 2, 2026, at her home. Jamie grew up in Tampa, FL, daughter of the late David Mendelson and the late Mary Helen Hatch Mendelson.  She graduated from H. B. Plant High School in Tampa. Jamie was an animal lover and a rescuer. She was a strong person who never complained and who dearly loved her family. She lived her life by the three Ls, Lord, Love and Laughter.

She was a faithful member of Pritchett Memorial Baptist Church in Meansville.  

She is survived by her husband of 52 years: John Holmes; and her son: J. D. Holmes (Jess). She was MiMi to her beloved granddaughter: Mia Holmes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 2 p.m., in Pritchett Memorial Baptist Church, 496 Jugtown Road, Meansville. Pastor Rick Rose will officiate.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the church.

There will be a gathering of family and friends after the service at the church. Everyone is invited.
