Jeffrey Morgan McCarty

Mr. Jeffrey Morgan McCarty, age 65 of Yatesville, Georgia, died, Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Brightmoor Hospice in griffin.

Mr. McCarty was born December 22, 1958, in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late Robert "Bobby" McCarty, and the late Catherine White Watson.  He worked as a mail sorter for the U.S. Postal Service.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Tim Watson.

Survivors include his brothers, Rodney (Shelly) McCarty of South Carolina, Jay McCarty of Warner Robins, Terry (Carolyn) Watson of Thomaston, sisters, Judy Ingram of Thomaston, Patricia Thiel of Thomaston, aunts, Margaret Wainwright of Thomaston, and Mildred Swails of North Carolina.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from Crystal Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday, November 22, 2024 from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
