Jerry Edgar Farlow, Jr

Mr. Jerry Edgar Farlow, Jr., age 75, of Griffin, passed away December 15, 2024.  He was born in Griffin, son of the late Jerry Edgar Farlow, Sr. and Mary Allen Farlow.  Jerry worked at Dundee Mills and then Springs Industries for over 30 years before retiring as a warehouse manager. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and was an avid fisherman. Jerry loved working on his boat and taking it to Lake Juliette fishing. 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Corley Farlow, his brother James “PeeWee” Farlow, sister Betty Schmit, brothers-in-law Jason Woods, Ricky Mills, Gary Toland and Mike Edge.

He is survived by his sons: Kevin Farlow and Jason Farlow; grandson: Riley Farlow; sister: Ellen Evans (Charles); sisters-in-law: Sandra Woods, Peggy Mills, Brenda Toland, and Shelia Edge; brothers-in-law: Donnie Corley and Doot Corley; nephews and a niece: Austin Woods (Kayla), Kayla Woods Davis (Seth) and Jeff Farlow; many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 12 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, from 11a.m. to 12 p.m., at the funeral home.
