Jewel Jeanette Reeves Reid Gilbert

Mrs. Jewel Jeanette Reeves Reid Gilbert, age 93, of Zebulon, passed away peacefully at her home on October 17, 2025, with her daughter, son-in-law and fur babies by her side.

Jeanette was a lifelong resident of Zebulon. For several years, she worked as a teller at United Bank and was also a devoted homemaker. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing basketball and ping pong, and in later years she liked to play cornhole. Jeanette loved her animals and cherished her family and the time she spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jewel Reeves, her husband, Robert “Bob” Reid, her brothers, Grady Reeves, Chunk Reeves and her twin brother, James Reeves.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Bobbie Jean and Marvin “Rudy” Maddox of Zebulon and her fur babies.

Friends may visit the family on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. 

A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m., in Lamar Memorial Gardens in Barnesville.
