John Leroy Moyer

Mr. John Leroy Moyer, age 55, of Barnesville, passed away September 18, 2025.  John was born in Adrain, Michigan, and lived in Florida for several years before moving to Barnesville where he had lived for the last 40 years.  John was a mechanic and also worked in the parts department at Moore Chevrolet in Barnesville. He enjoyed working on cars.

He was preceded in death by his father, Burton Moyer, sister, Jennifer Mae, brother, Jeffery Moyer and granddaughter, Elizabeth.

He is survived by his daughters: Jessica Moyer (Drell Taylor) and Jennifer Moyer-Walker (Antonio); grandchildren: Lyndsie, Kyleigh, Lilliauna, Jazmyne, Aliyah, Antonio, Laiya, Londyn and Alijah; mother: Marilyn Lamb (Curt); nephews and nieces: Jeffrey, Jake, Emily, Santera, Lissy and Bradley; great-nephew and great-niece: Zion and Zella; former wife: Krystal Moyer (Mark Boerschig); mother-in-law: Sharon Pugh (Ricky); sister-in-law: Michelle Sanger (John).

A family service celebrating John’s life will be held at a later date.
