Ms. Josephine Harper Ingram, age 89, of Pike County, passed away June 9, 2025, at her home. Josephine worked for American Mills in Griffin for over 40 years before retiring. She was an excellent cook, made wonderful cakes and enjoyed putting puzzles together.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Ingram.
She is survived by her sons: Audie Ingram (Deborah) and Tim Ingram; grandchildren: Bart Ingram (Misty), Shelly Ingram, Amy Ingram, Justin Ingram (Heather), and Beth Ingram (Jason Reece); great-grandchildren: Bryson Bartlett, Beau Ingram, Sloan Horton, Lola Ingram, Jeremiah Ingram, Faithlyn Danger and Jaydan Ingram; and many friends.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Elder Frank King and Elder Tim Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
