JUDGE COKER SENTENCES GRIFFIN COUPLE FOR CRUELTY TO CHILDREN

A griffin couple, Tyler and Krista Schindler have been sentenced to 40 years in prison and 20 years’ probation for trying to starve a family boy by Spalding County Superior Court judge Benjamin Coker. The Schindler’s entered guilty pleas Thursday to all the charges against them including cruelty to children, false imprisonment and more. Authorities say the boy, age 10, weighed just 36 pounds when he was found wandering the neighborhood.
