Kathryn “Kathy” Lynn Drummond Brown

Ms. Kathryn “Kathy” Lynn Drummond Brown, age 70, of Greenville, passed away September 2, 2025.  Kathy grew up in Forest Park, daughter of the late R. L. Drummond and the late Edna Stewart Drummond.  She graduated from Forest Park High School.  She was a bus driver for Meriwether County School System. Kathy was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Brown.

She is survived by her children: Justin Brown (Samantha) and Leslie Jackson (Brandon); grandchildren: Dylan Brown, Edna Brown, Tatym Brown, Genevieve Jackson and David Jackson; stepchildren: Angel Brown, David Simms, Donna Hockaday (John) and Rebecca Fogg (David).

She is also survived by her companion of 23 years: Randall Dutton and her best friend of 45 years: Shirley Barton. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home.

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the funeral home.
