Kenneth Owen Caldwel

Mr. Kenneth Owen Caldwell, age 65, of Zebulon, passed away February 9, 2025.  Kenneth grew up in Zebulon and graduated from Pike County High School. For most of his working life, he was in hardware sales. He loved riding horses, John Deere tractors, and his donkey, Jack.  When his children were young, he enjoyed camping and participating in 4-H events with them. 


Kenneth was a long-time member of New Hope Baptist Church in Zebulon and later in life became a member of Rock Springs Church in Milner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Ruth Caldwell.


He is survived by his wife: Marie Teliaken Caldwell; children: Ashley Childs (Cameron) and Glen Caldwell (Tayler); grandchildren: Riley, Abby and River Childs and Emmett and Elias Caldwell; brother: Bill Caldwell; and sister: Penny Harbers (Galen).


Friends may visit the family on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.


Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, 11 a.m., at New Hope Baptist Church, 4920 New Hope Road, Zebulon. Dr. Benny Tate will officiate, and Pastor Cameron Shiflett will sing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 


Donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse or Rock Springs Israel Fund, in memory of Kenneth.
