Kenneth Wayne Goins, Jr


Mr. Kenneth Wayne Goins, Jr., age 44, of Barnesville, passed away September 23, 2025. Ken lived his entire life in Barnesville, where he worked as a logger. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.


He was preceded in death by his son, Jake Goins, his PawPaw, Samuel Flournoy, Sr., uncles, Samuel “Jack” Flournoy, Jr., and Kenneth “Kimbo” Flournoy.


He is survived by his children: Lindsey Goins (Gabe Sullivan), Katie Campbell, and Gage Goins; grandchildren: Maloni Hughes and Zion Tyson; parents: Patricia Flournoy Goins and Kenneth Wayne Goins, Sr.; sister and brother: Kelly Goins and Keith Black (Kelley); nieces and nephews: Brianna, Loria, Brandon and Sydney; beloved dog and best friend: Chump; girlfriend: Shannon Barfield


Friends may visit the family on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the funeral home.  A service to celebrate Ken’s life will follow at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Horton officiating.
