Margaret Melrose Greathouse Legg

Mrs. Margaret Melrose Greathouse Legg, age 94, of Thomaston, died Friday, September 5, 2025, at her residence in Thomaston.

Mrs. Legg was born June 27, 1931, in Thomaston to the late Edmond Paul Greathouse and Eva Salter Greathouse. She was a homemaker and a life member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lindy Paul Legg; sister, Francis Paulette Britt; granddaughter, Melissa Gahagan; and a great-granddaughter, Rilee-Kate Legg. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Higgs; son, Chris (Debbie) Legg; grandchildren, Heath (Stephanie) Brodnax, Jonathan (Candice) Brodnax, Amanda (Chris) Wheeler, Nath (Katie) Legg, and Anna-Marie (Ryan) Lynch; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Legg will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Church. Interment will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery.
