Marilyn Elizabeth Manord

Marilyn Elizabeth Manord, age 53, of Griffin, passed away November 24, 2024.  She grew up Cape Town, South Africa, daughter of the late Marilyn Sue Slagle Phillips and Bernard Lionel Phillips. Marilyn was a Human Resources Manager for the Georgia Department of Transportation in Atlanta for 11 years. She enjoyed playing with animals, reading, shopping, cooking and singing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Thomas Manord.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Manord of Griffin.

Marilyn was always one to help those around her therefore she made the decision to donate her body for educational research to further her positive impact.
