Marvin Franklin Wainwright

Mr. Marvin Franklin Wainwright, age 86 of Thomaston, died Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at his residence.

Mr. Wainwright was born on January 4, 1939, in Taylor County, to the late Howard Franklin Wainwright, and the late Letha Hicks Lee.  He worked for the Thomaston Mills Peerless Division.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Helms Wainwright.

Survivors include his daughter, Teresa (Roy) Parks, sisters, Debbie Thrasher, Alma Patterson, grandchildren, Nathan (Emily Moore) Suddeth, Ashli (Joel) Trice, great-grandchildren, Arabella Suddeth, Addilyn Suddeth, Kaylee Trice, and Camden Trice.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from Upson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
