Mary Glover Hendrix

Mrs. Mary Glover Hendrix, age 91, of Senoia, passed away on June 16, 2026, at her home.

Mrs. Mary was born and raised in Zebulon, a lifelong member of New Hope Baptist Church. She worked as a paraprofessional at Pike County Primary School for 30 years, diligently loving and teaching children as they came through her classroom. Mary enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, she especially loved to go walking with her sister, Louise.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Alvin Leonard Hendrix; brothers, Frank and Robert Glover; sister, Louise Parks; brothers-in-law, Allen Parks and Charlie Watkins; and sister-in-law, Sue Glover.

Mary is survived by her son, Kalvin (Jackie) Hendrix, of Senoia; daughters, Karren (Marvin) Watson, of Cartersville, and Katie (Scott) Mullins, of Senoia; sisters, Dorothy Glover, of Zebulon, Carol (Buel) Allen, of Thomaston, and Patsy Watkins, of Thomaston; grandchildren, Kayla (Dallas) Martin, Alex (Kayla) Hendrix, Heather (Greg) Hendrix, Katelyn (Daniel) Mercer, and Wesley Watson; great-grandchildren, Roarik Martin, Harper Martin, Avacyn Hendrix, Carson Mercer, and Audrey Mercer; sister-in-law, Gwen Glover, of Fayetteville; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Hendrix will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, in Zebulon. Friends may visit the family from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the church.
