Mary Jean Moreland Caldwell

Mrs. Mary Jean Moreland Caldwell, age 84 of Blairsville, Georgia, formerly of Thomaston, died Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at her residence.

Mrs. Caldwell was born on February 20, 1941 in Thomaston, Georgia, to the late Bruce Moreland, and the late Louise Moreland.  She worked in the Pike County Registrar's Office and was a member of Christ Chapel in Zebulon.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James "Leo" Caldwell.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Matthew Gadigian) of Blairsville, son, Johnny (Sandy) Caldwell of Zebulon, brothers Richard Moreland of Mineral Bluff, Lee (Alice) Moreland of Barnesville, Randy (Kathy) Moreland of Thomaston, grandchildren, Joshua (Dara) Caldwell, Amanda (Jeremy) Simpson, Bryson Woods, Shelby Woods, Brayden Woods, great-grandchildren, Finn Caldwell, Annie Jean Caldwell.
