Mary Lynn McGee Howard

Mrs. Mary Lynn McGee Howard, age 55, of Molena, passed away May 13, 2026.  Mary grew up in the Griffin and McDonough areas. For over 20 years, she was a bookkeeper for a family-owned business, Zebulon Tax Office. Mary was hilarious and had a great sense of humor. She brought inspiring energy to every life she touched. She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed trips to West Point Lake, where she loved being out on the water with her husband, children, and grandchildren. To know Mary was to love her. She was incredibly kind and accepting to all. 

Mary had a contagious personality and passion for life. She was fearless and always up for an adventure. Her life was one of a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Even through sickness, she remained strong in her faith. She will be deeply missed and always remembered. 

Mary was preceded in death by her father Howard McGee, Sr., and mother-in-law Donna Marie Howard 

She is survived by her husband: Chris Howard; children: James Wilcock, Rebecca Wilcock, Elizabeth Wilcock (Chris Levering), Savannah Dunn (Kolt) and Andrew Howard (Briana); grandchildren: Helena, Ryleigh, Raylynn, Rayden, Addyson, Allison, Alezander, Tucker, Weston, Holly and Ariella; mother: Ruby Denton McGee; brothers: Howard McGee, Jr. (Ann), Michael McGee and Steve McGee (Laura); several nieces and nephews, and many other family members. 

Friends may visit the family Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the funeral home. 

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Bennie Prince officiating.
