Nickolas "Nick" Fields Dixon

Mr. Nickolas "Nick" Fields Dixon, age 44, of Molena, passed away July 10, 2025. Nick was born in Riverdale to parents Sheila Rappold and Michael Dixon. He was raised in Lovejoy, where he resided until moving to Molena in 2025. Nick loved his family and friends dearly. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and playing The Legend of Zelda video games on his off days from Quality Tire Recycling, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. 

Nickolas is preceded in death by his father, Michael Dixon, and brother, Forrest Dixon. 

He is survived by his mother, Sheila Rappold; daughter, Sarah Nicole Dixon; son, Nickolas Fields Dixon, Jr.; sister, April Elliot; brother, Justin Dixon; sister-in-law, Linda Dixon; as well as many nieces and nephews and one grandson..

He faced many challenges in life and stood tall through them all, meeting adversity with strength and good spirit. He was tough and fiercely loved his family. Despite everything, he always greeted everyone with a warm smile and a genuine kindness that made people feel truly cared for. 

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at New Hope Methodist Church, 1014 New Hope Drive, Hampton.  A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m., in the church cemetery.
