Mrs Norma Nadine Hestley Campbell, age 78, of Thomaston, passed away December 11, 2025, at her home. Nadine was born in Georgia, daughter of the late Silas Hestley and the late Stella Strickland Hestley. She lived in California for much of her life and graduated from Huntington Park High School. She returned to Georgia 19 years ago and made her home in Thomaston.
Throughout her life, Nadine held several jobs, including security guard, waitress, and supervisor at Barksdale Control Products, where she later retired.
Nadine was an excellent dancer, never missed an opportunity to play Bingo and was a devoted Atlanta Braves fan. She will be remembered for her lively spirit and the joy she brought to those around her.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert James Vest, her grandson, AJ Glad, great-grandson, Brady Allen Besheer, sisters, Carthell, Marie, Barbara Ann, Cora Mae and a brother, David.
She is survived by her children: Samantha Glad (JC Cooper), Robert Vest, Michelle Jolly (Earl), James Vest (Cindy), and Felicia Campbell; grandchildren: Kristen, AJ, Kandice (Chuck), Amber, Randall (Susan), Louis (Ashley), Haley (Jake), Bryce, James II (Savannah), Autumn, River and Ricky; great-grandchildren: Landon, Kassandra, Cohen, Lance, Elijah, Jessica, Riley, Ryder and Easton; great-great-grandchildren: Lakelynn and Oaklynn; her fur baby: Willow; many nieces and nephews.
A Going Home Party for Nadine will be held at a later date.
