Paul Herman Vandiver


Mr. Paul Herman Vandiver, age 57, of Griffin, passed away December 3, 2025. Paul grew up in Fayetteville. He was an outdoorsman who loved dogs, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns and working on them. For 11 years, Paul owned The Gun Shop in Woodbury, a dream that he shared with his father.  He was a loyal and trusted friend who was always ready to help anyone in need. Paul was a member of The Cove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Scott Fleming Vandiver, Sr., a nephew, Little Jay, grandparents, Nina and Lightnin, MamaVan, cousin, Will Brown, his beloved dog, Daisy.

He is survived by his wife: Cindy Vandiver; mother: Snooky Vandiver; brothers and sisters: Scott Vandiver, Jr. (Corolla), Jay Vandiver (Joyce), Bryan Vandiver, Joy McNorton (Larry) and Amy Hardin (Bob); nieces and nephews: Audreyana, Jacob, Holly, Storm, Waylen, Sammy, Ashlyn, and Lea; many great-nieces and great-nephews; long-time friends: Todd Reese, Jeremy Coleman, Dean Holt, Jackie Johnson, Adam Grant, and Chad Fuller.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Ryan Christopher officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Church, 680 Ebenezer Church Road, Fayetteville, GA. 

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
