Ray Brooks passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of service, friendship, and a deep love for the outdoors.
Ray comes from a family of service members including his father and two brothers. Ray proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968, including service during the Vietnam War.
Known by all who loved him as the epitome of an outdoorsman, Ray felt most at home in nature and he found joy in every season. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who spent countless years creating memories with family, friends, and his beloved hunting dogs.
He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Brooks; his nephews, Lane and Von; and his nieces, Kelly and Cindy. He was preceded in death by many family members and friends whom he loved and missed dearly.
In remembrance of Ray, the family encourages friends and loved ones to spend time outdoors, enjoying nature's beauty that brought him so much happiness.
