Richard Michael “Mike” Dix

Mr. Richard Michael “Mike” Dix, age 50, of Woodbury, GA, passed away February 8, 2025, after a 9-month battle with cancer. Mike grew up in Griffin. He was a drill operator for Primoris, a company that installs underground power lines. Mike was an avid deer hunter, and he also enjoyed rabbit hunting, fishing and working in his yard. He loved his dogs, Lola and Gunner. Mike grew up and attended schools in Griffin, GA.  He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Zebulon.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andy and Jeanette Dix and James and Virginia Lord.

Mike is survived by his wife: Rachel Dix; children: Tori Dix, Paige Haynes (Jacob), Bryant Thomaston, Brittany Faulkner (Harrison), Haiden Faulkner (Breanna); mother: Jan Campbell (Turk); father: Rickey Dix (Janet); siblings: Robert Dix (Jessica) and Christi Farron (Dustin); seven grandchildren, one niece, three nephews, many cousins and family. 

A service celebrating Mike’s life will be held at a later date and will be announced.
