Ricky Franklin "Rick" Varnom

Mr. Ricky Franklin "Rick" Varnom age 76 of Thomaston Ga, passed away Saturday January 31, 2026 at Upson Regional Medical Center. 

Mr. Varnom was born on January 19, 1950 in Griffin Ga, to the late Frank E. Varnom and the late Geneva Washington Varnom. He worked for Winn-Dixie for 32 years as Store Manager and was a member of Northridge Church. Mr. Varnom loved wood working and gardening. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings, Larry Varnom, Kenneth Varnom & Becky Cheek.

Survivors include his wife Mrs. Linda Crawford Varnom of Thomaston Ga, daughters Mrs. Stephanie (Marc) Pritchett of Thomaston Ga, Mrs. Shelley (Ben) Daniel of St. Simons Island Ga, brothers Mr. Roy (Margaret) Varnom, Mr. Jimmy (Betty) Crawford, grandchildren Tyler (Maggie) Pritchett, Ashli (Keith) Dunn, Clark (Dani Boyett) Daniel, great grandchildren Beckham Pritchett, Kanon Pritchett, Ember Rose Dunn, Jillian Elyse Pritchett, Braven Dunn.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday February 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from Northridge Church. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Northridge Church on Sunday February 1, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
