ree

Mr. Robert “Bob” Wayne Byrom, age 66, of Concord, passed away on July 26, 2025. He was born and raised in Bermuda. Bob was a veteran of the United States Army. In his early years, he studied to become a diesel mechanic, but his true calling led him to a career as a painter. For over 20 years, he owned and operated Byrom’s Painting and Pressure Washing.

Bob had a deep love for the ocean, particularly deep-sea fishing, and he enjoyed working on boats. He was a “foodie” and a wonderful cook who took pride in preparing elaborate meals—especially during the holidays, when he had a house full of family and friends. His love for animals was evident in his beloved dogs and constant companions, Sassy and Buffy.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Byrom.

Bob is survived by his wife, Kim Byrom; children: Heather Hannah (Jason), April Fuller, Amanda Hannah (Jonathan), Jessica Bunn (Jeremy), and Stephen Hammond; grandchildren: Shannon, McKenzie, Kenna, Kansas, Abby, Anna, Samuel, Sarah, Elisabeth, Jeremiah, Levi, Lexi, and Katlin; five great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his mother: Rosemary Byrom; sister: Linda Byrom; brother: Michael Byrom (Wanda); and stepmother: Dorothy Byrom.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the fellowship hall at Miracle Way Baptist Church on Highway 85 in Senoia.
