Robert Kelly Chambers, age 55 of Williamson, passed away August 23, 2026. Kelly graduated from Lamar County High School and attended the Pike-Lamar Training Center. He enjoyed dancing, listening to music and bowling. Kelly had a big heart, was always happy and loved everybody. He had a special soul
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Gene Chambers, grandparents, Nell and Clell Huff and Maudy and Vestie Kelly Chambers, Nant Nan Pate, aunt, Louise Davis and uncle, Joe Clell Huff.
He is survived by his mother and step-father: Emma and Kenneth Clark; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bryan and Alice Chambers and Clifton and Leslie Chambers; step-sister: Tammy Clark; nephew and nieces and their spouses: Jeremy and Vicky Chambers, Heather and Tony Holland, Chloe Chambers (Mark Bair) and Leila and Dillon Thompson; great-nieces and a great-nephew: Emily Chambers, Evelyn Chambers, Hallie Holland, Bryer Holland and Tessie Thompson; uncles and aunts: Charles and Edna Clark and Charles and Diane Huff; cousins: Terry and Robin Matlock and Nike Matlock; former sister-in-law: Genai Quin; special friends: Terry and Emily Page, Glenda Roland and Robert and Kathy Helton.
He is also survived by his caregivers: Debbie Lowe and Sara Roland and Diane from his group home; and many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Fincher Memorial Cemetery in Meansville.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
