Ronnie Lee Maddox

Mr. Ronnie Lee Maddox, age 76, of Zebulon, passed away August 8, 2025. Ronnie grew up in Pike County. He was the son of the late Grady Maddox and Louise Ward Maddox. Known for his warm smile and friendly nature, Ronnie never met a stranger. He enjoyed the simple things in life, like riding his red scooter, fishing, and shooting his BB gun.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rickie Maddox, nieces, Sheila Wolf and Linda Jones and brother-in-law, Jerry Cox.

He is survived by his sister: Esther Cox; a nephew and nieces: Timothy Cox, Janis Allen (Stan), Jamie Sprayberry (Rusty) and Keri Lewis (Clay); many great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 4920 New Hope Road, Zebulon.  

Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the graveside.
