Ruth Marie Bodine Gager

Mrs. Ruth Marie Bodine Gager, age 78, of Molena, passed away November 5, 2025, at her home.  She grew up on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Edna Bodine.  Ruth lived in Bethany, PA for many years while raising her young children before moving to Georgia in 1978.  

She enjoyed sewing, baking and cooking Sunday dinners for her family.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her County Line United Methodist Church family. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Bodine.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years: Don Gager; children: Tammy Carlisle (Clarence) and Rusty Gager (Amanda); grandchildren: Chandler Carlisle, Remington Gager (Kaitland) and Logan Gager; a great-grandson due in March: Dawson Gager; brothers: Larry Bodine and Bob Bodine; sister-in-law: Sue Dougher.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
