Sarah Ann Piper

Mrs. Sarah Ann Piper age 77 of Thomaston Ga, died Thursday September 10, 2026 at Upson Regional Medical Center. 

Mrs. Piper was born on March 23, 1949 in Telfair County Ga, to the late Robert Lee Green and the late Sarah Frances Ryals Green. She worked in the Upson County School System in the food service department for many years. Mrs. Piper was a member of First Pentecostal Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Bonnie Lee Piper.

Survivors include her daughters Bobbie Gail Piper of Thomaston Ga, Pamela Jane (Javier) Young of New Mexico, sons Samuel J. Piper of Thomaston Ga, Allen Piper of Thomaston Ga, Michael Lee (Misty) Piper of Montana, brothers Robert M. (Lois) Green of Perry Ga, Bobby J. Green of Macon Ga, sister Janie "Matt" Song of Macon Ga, grandchildren Gary (Jasmine) Young, Issiah Young, Cody (Katie) Piper, Megan Piper Holsten, Kristen (Rebecca) Bartley, Jade Piper, James Campbell, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday September 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Tuesday September 15, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
